      Red silicon O-ring

      Size 417, perfect for corny hatch opening, does not impart that rubber smell to keg contents. Seals well and last longer than the black rubber.

      This seems expensive, until you realize they cost 3x as much on other web sites and are made of silicone. Supposedly the silicone lasts longer, has a better temperature tolerance and seals tighter than buna n. I recommend going ahead and replacing all of your corny keg seals with silicone. At these prices you might as well. It's worth it just for the peace of mind, since silicone o-rings are less likely to leak. Highly recommended. Cheaper than buying the inferior black o-rings from your homebrew shop.
